Our History
For more than 80 years, Howard's Rug Company has been the foundation beneath some of Ventura County's best-known commercial spaces. The company was founded in 1943, and when the original partners went their separate ways more than 20 years ago, the Ventura County business became Howard's Rug Company of Ventura. Today we're an independently owned commercial flooring contractor headquartered in Oxnard (CA Lic. #583433), and we still run the business on the principles we started with: integrity, honesty, and safety first.

No. Both companies trace back to the same founders in 1943, but they split more than 20 years ago. Howard's Rug Company of Ventura is independently owned and operated in Oxnard and serves Ventura County.
